Since 2017, Mansfield Pediatrics PLLC has been honored to care for the children in our community. As an independently owned practice in Mansfield, TX, we’re here for families—from newborns to teens up to 18 years old. With five dedicated physicians and one nurse practitioner, our mission is simple: to help kids grow healthy and happy by supporting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. We’re excited to continue to grow and serve Mansfield, Arlington, and the greater DFW area for many years to come!
Meet Our Medical Team

Dr. Melody Burton
Dr. Melody Burton grew up in Ohio and received her undergraduate degree from Ohio University. She attended medical school at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1991. Upon completion of her pediatric training at Kosair Children’s Hospital, she began practicing in the Arlington area. Dr. Burton is a physician owner of Mansfield Pediatrics, PLLC. She maintains board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics and the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians. Dr. Burton and her husband have recently become “empty nesters” and are the proud parents of two young adult men.

Dr. Melody Burton

Dr. Shari McConville (Dr. Mac)
Dr. Mac graduated in 1995 from the University Health Science Center of Texas at San Antonio with her MD degree. Dr. Mac went on to complete her pediatric residency with the USAF at Wilford Hall Medical Center. After working as the staff pediatrician at Pope AFB in North Carolina, she returned to North Texas in 2003, where she has been practicing pediatrics for the past 20 years. Dr. Mac enjoys reading and has been a member of the same book club for 20 years, loves to travel, and spend time with her 3 daughters and granddaughter.

Dr. Huan Pham
Dr. Huan Pham is the youngest in his immigrant family, who moved from Vietnam to Arlington, TX, at the age of 2. There, he grew up and received much of his education, including his Bachelor of Science degree, at UT Arlington. He always wanted to choose a meaningful career that would allow him to dedicate his love and appreciation to his parents; thus, he ultimately chose medicine. He pursued this dream by attending medical school at UNT Health Science Center in Ft. Worth, TX.
His love for pediatrics blossomed due to his extensive experience as a soccer coach. He believes that the kids he coached paved the pathway toward pediatrics. With this in mind, Dr. Pham completed his residency training at Oklahoma University Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He is now the newest board certified pediatrician at Mansfield Pediatrics and is very excited to give back to the community in which he grew up.

Dr. Mia Best
Dr. Mia Best is a board certified general pediatrician with expertise in child and adolescent mental health. She received her B. S in Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors. She graduated medical school at The Brody School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida. She has special interests in eliminating health disparities and inequalities at multiple social-ecological levels. Her passion is providing patient centered holistic care.
She is currently pursuing a MPH with a concentration of behavioral and social science. Her hobbies include spending time with her 2 kids, traveling, and writing children’s books.

Michelle O’Connor, APRN-CPNP
Michelle O’Connor, APRN-CPNP is a native-born Texan who has practiced in the Metroplex area for over 24 years. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1987. She has worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse for 12 years prior to obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing at Texas Women’s University in Dallas. Mrs. O’Connor joined Mansfield Pediatrics in 2018. She maintains pediatric board certification through the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Mrs. O’Connor is married and lives with her husband and two dogs. She has two married children and three grandchildren.
