Well-Child Exams
Developmental Screenings
Every child grows at their own pace, but it’s important to monitor how they’re developing over time. Our pediatric team offers developmental screenings to evaluate speech, motor skills, social behavior, and cognitive milestones. These assessments are typically included during well-child visits and can help identify any areas that may benefit from early intervention. If you have concerns about your child’s development or feel something may not be quite right, we’re here to listen and guide you with supportive next steps and helpful resources.
School, Sports, & Camp Physicals
Many activities require a physical exam to ensure that your child is healthy and able to participate. Contact us and bring in your paperwork. If your child has been seen for a well-child exam in the time range indicated by the activity, we will complete your forms and have them in the office for you to pick up. If your child requires a new examination, call 817-453-7770 to make an appointment. We provide $25.00 Sports Physicals in our office to established patients.
Lactation and Newborn Feeding Support
Feeding your newborn can bring a lot of joy—and a few challenges. Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or doing a combination of both, our team is here to help. While we do not have in-office lactation consultants, our providers can support you by addressing common questions and concerns such as latch issues, feeding schedules, or weight gain. When needed, we also connect families with trusted outside lactation specialists for more in-depth, hands-on guidance. Our goal is to make sure you and your baby feel confident and supported during this early stage.
Behavioral and School Concerns
Some behaviors seem to defy explanation and ways of dealing with them feel like they are out of reach. Our pediatricians are experts in what to expect and how to deal with difficult behaviors. Some diagnoses, such as ADHD, require forms to be completed by the parent and the school, while some require outside assessments. We also have a Licensed Professional Counselor through Childrens’ Health in the office on Mondays to help with any mental health needs. Ask us at your child’s appointment, or contact us with your questions.

MyChart can be accessed in English and Spanish, both online and via the free smartphone app.
